The program taught by our 3/4 Team focuses on the use of a dialogic framework during inquiry learning and consolidating these skills during Numeracy and Literacy. Interactions between students and teachers encourage thinking and reasoning and promotes questioning of what is learnt in order to challenge thinking. Students present evidence to back up their opinions. They exchange, contribute, discuss and respect opinions, ideas and beliefs about what they are learning. This allows the students to have more say in their learning, and gives them the ability to set goals.
