Transition and pathways for parents

At Meadows Primary School, the practice of welcoming, supporting and involving families is of high importance in establishing our school culture. The Transition Process is about ensuring the challenges faced by families and in particular the students themselves who are moving into a new environment with new teachers, new structures and new friends is an effective and positive experience. Each year at Meadows we organise transition activities such as Enrolment Week, Orientation Days, Step Up Program, Better Buddies Program as well as whole school community events such as Harmony Day and Let’s Connect. It is during these interactions that the individual needs of all students can be identified and addressed and positive relationships with our families are formed to build shared understanding of our teaching and learning community at Meadows.
